Title: Itadakimasu! (いただきます)

A Japanese phrase said before eating, which literally means “I humbly receive”. It expresses gratitude to those who took part in the creation of the meal.

Title: Miso Shiru (みそしる)

Miso shiru (miso soup) is a traditional Japanese soup which consists of softened miso paste mixed with a stock called “dashi”, often tofu and seaweed.

Title: Oishii Ramen (おいしいラーメン)

Oishii is a phrase which means “delicious.” Ramen is a Japanese noodle dish that originated in China, which is served in a meat or fish-based broth, flavoured with
miso or soy sauce and often contains pork, seaweed, green onions and other toppings.

Title: Gochisousama-deshita
(ごちそうさまでした)

Gochisousama is a phrase used to give thanks for a good meal. Deshita is added to make the phrase more polite.
